Amongst the main golf courses in and around Nagoya, the Shinyo Country Club stands out and is known for its water hazards, while the Fujioka Country Club dates back to 1971 and also features plenty of challenges along the way. Here are Nagoya's main golf courses.

With 18 holes, large lakes, waterfalls and scenic surroundings, the Shinyo Country Club is perhaps most famous for its signature seventh hole. Other highlights include mature landscaping, well-maintained greens and a number of natural features.

Fujioka Country Club

The Fujioka Country Club boasts 18 holes, a golf par of 72 and stretches for almost 7,000 yards. Dating back to the early 1970s, this popular golf course has gained a strong reputation over the years and covers around 80 acres / 32 hectares, with sandy bunkers, a lake and meandering creek, amongst other attractions.
