If exotic flowers are more your thing, then the stunning Ran no Yakata Orchid Gardens are not to be missed and are literally brimming with garish and exotic flowers, throughout the year. Information about Nagoya's main gardens and parks is shown below.

A pathway leads towards the main display of orchids, where you will find both common and rare specimens all growing in carefully controlled conditions. The Ran no Yakata Orchid Gardens are just a short walk from the Nagoya Yaba-cho station and feature a number of seasonal horticultural events. When you tire of looking around this huge collection of orchids, a choice of cafes awaits, with outdoor seating being available on sunny days.
